Hey, so I'll just clarify that Meaty isn't always a bad thing.
Meaty has created things that are very beneficial to society(YOU AND ME!).
For example, if Meaty didn't exist, you wouldn't be reading this right now. Without Meaty, we probably wouldn't be as technologically developed. Without Meaty, we probably wouldn't know how to cook toaster strudel!!! GAHHHHHHHH. Ok, maybe that was overdoing it, but seriously without Meaty we wouldn't be able to communicate with distant relatives, or know about current events.
WE NEED MEATY JUST LIKE MEATY NEEDS US.
HOORAY FOR DEPENDENCE!!!

Well, I'm not going to argue with the necessity of knowing how to toast toaster strudel. I've been thinking though about the use of the web to keep in touch with distant relatives. While this is a good thing, it's also ironic, because it is the development of technology that has allowed us to become distant from our relatives (horse and buggy, train, car, plane, etc.), and in some ways has caused the dissolution of the family unit. So, our technology causes the need for more technology. It's a self-perpetuating organism. Not to mention, meaty is often the space between us and relatives in the same room.
Yay for toaster strudel!
I should probably try that some time.
